Marguerite
Noirepoudre de Sauvigné, a local noblewoman, had this building
erected in 1854 in the Restauration style then being. It is now
under preservation order. So inside a good deal of that stately
house’s original interior has been preserved, such as the
“Charles X.-style” staircase, the trompe l’ œils, the stucco
decorations, the lintels and old chimneys.
We
have taken greatest care in renovating and decorating the rooms to
offer you state-of-the-art comfort. One place where a range of our
efforts focus is the mansion’s spacious dining-room right where
you are served breakfast and dinner next to a marvellous faience
stove.
Feel
invited if you wish to settle down for some peace and quiet, but
also like to stay along with others in a pleasant conviviality.
